캘거리 한글학교에서는 학생들이 한국어에 대한 관심을 키우고, 학습의욕을 북돋우며, 자신감과 성취감을 얻을 수 있도록 매년 우리말 잘하기 대회를 개최하고 있습니다. 이 대회를 통해 학생들이 한국어 실력을 향상시키고, 무대 경험을 쌓으며, 자신의 생각을 또렷하게 표현하는 소중한 기회를 갖길 바랍니다. 아래 대회 참가에 대한 자세한 내용을 안내드리오니 많은 관심과 참여 부탁드립니다.

1. 일시: 2026년 4월 11일(토) 오전 9:30~12:00  (참가자는 9시 15분까지 도착)
2. 장소: 캘거리 한인회관, 7008 Farrell Rd SE, Calgary, AB T2H 0T2
3. 참가 자격: 캘거리 한글학교 재학생(Gr. 1 이상)
4. 참가 신청: 2026년 2월23일(월)~3월20일(금) (아래 바로가기 링크에서 ‘신청서’ 작성)

5. 원고 제출: 2026년 3월 31일(화)  **각 반 담임선생님 이메일로 제출(Letter 사이즈 1 페이지, 폰트 사이즈 13, 200~300개 단어, 제목과 한글학교 반, 참가자 이름 기재)
6. 주제: 아래 주제 중 자유롭게 제목을 정해주세요.

• 나의 한글 학교 
• OOO에게 쓰는 편지 
• 대한민국을 지킨 영웅 
• 세계가 반한 K-컬처 
• 한국에 가면 해보고 싶은 것 
• 자유 주제 

7. 시상: 총영사상, 최우수상, 우수상, 장려상, 스타상, 참가상 ( * 참가자 수에 따라 시상 내역이 달라질 수 있습니다.)
8. 주의사항 

• 발표시간: 3분 기준 (2분 이상 4분 미만), 시간 엄수
• 발표시 원고를 완전히 외운 후 발표
• 원고를 외우지 못해 발표 시 원고를 참조할 경우, 사전에 알림
• 인터넷이나 책에서 인용한 내용을 그대로 사용 시 시상 제외

The 30th Consul General’s Korean Speech Contest

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Calgary Korean School hosts The 30th Consul General’s Korean Speech Contest to inspire students’ interest in the Korean language, enhance their motivation for learning, and help them build confidence and a sense of achievement. Through this event, we hope students will improve their Korean skills, gain valuable stage experience, and develop the ability to express their thoughts clearly. Please find the detailed participation information below.

1. Date: April 11, 2026 (Saturday) 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM
           (Participants should arrive by 9:15 AM.)
2. Location: Calgary Korean Association, 7008 Farrell Rd SE, Calgary, AB T2H 0T2
3. Eligibility: Calgary Korean School Enrolled Students (Grade 1 and above)
4. Application Period: February 23(Monday) to March 20(Friday), 2026.

5. Manuscript Submission: March 31, 2026 (Tuesday),
   ** Submit to homeroom teachers via email.
   (Standard letter size, 1 page, font size around 13, 200-300 words, include title, Korean Language School class, participant’s name)
   
6. Topic: Please freely select a title related to the following themes.

• My Story at Calgary Korean School
• A letter to OOO
• Heroes Who Protected Korea
• K-Culture Loved Around the World
• Things I Want to Do in Korea
• Free Topics

7. Awards:  Consul General’s Award, Grand Prize, Excellence Award, Encouragement Award, Star Award, Participation Award
   (* Award details may vary depending on the number of participants.)

8. Precautions:

• Presentation Time: 

3 minutes (based on 2 to 4 minutes), strictly adhere to the time limit.

• Memorize the manuscript completely before the presentation.
• Notify in advance if the manuscript needs to be referenced during the presentation due to inability to memorize.
• Exclusion from awards if content directly quoted from the internet or books.
